Singapore and U.S.A. to explore the development of a Trusted Traveller Programme (TTP) to facilitate immigration clearance for citizens of both countries.

What is TTP?

TP is a bilateral initiative which allows citizens of both countries to enjoy convenient immigration clearance via automated clearance kiosks at their major traveller entry points. Upon successful enrolment, they may use the self-service immigration clearance facilities available at the host country for more convenient clearance.

How to apply?

Interested citizens from both countries may apply for the programme on a voluntary basis. Those who have met the programme requirements will be notified to complete the formalities with the host country.

Who are currently eligible?

Currently, eligible Malaysia and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) passport holders already enjoy similar facilities in Singapore, while eligible Singapore passport holders may also apply to the immigration authorities in Malaysia and HKSAR to enjoy their automated immigration clearance facilities.
