Google Launches Pitch Deck Templates
Google has just launched on Google Slides a Pitch Deck template “based on proven presentation tactics” which entrepreneurs or startups can use to create their pitch for fundraising. It is a very useful template, especially to those who are creating their pitch for the very first time! The Pitch Deck template contains a total of 11 slides being:
- Cover page and tagline
- Mission statement
- The problem
- The solution
- The team
- How it works
- The technology, product or service
- Revenue model
- Why now?
We would like to emphasize that it is a template and there is no hard and fast rule to use the same topics, you may also wish to consider the following:
- Traction or Validation
- Market size and potential
- Marketing and growth strategy
- Key financial figures or milestones
- Amount already raised
- Use of funds
- Advisory Board (If any)
It is best to keep your Pitch Deck interesting with the right flow. Investors do not have much time to spend on reading a deck, it is important to include the key points in the slides. We feel that a good pitch deck should have maximum 15 to 18 slides.
